inFusion Scheduler is a Windows NT/2000 Service that retrieves scheduled events and executes the events utilizing the inFusionEngine. Events are retrieved from a ColdFusion, iHTML or PERL template which means that the scheduler is 100% customizable by the developer. Events may be monitored for success or failure and notifications are also sent to a template for processing. inFusion Scheduler can also be configured to stop and restart the ColdFusion service (or other services) in the event of an error. The inFusion Scheduler Server is a flexible, high performance alternative to application server schedulers. The inFusion Scheduler allows you to create your own scheduling schemes (a special template is executed periodically to retrieve a list of templates that need to be executed according to schedule).
